Three Steps

SET UP IN MINUTES.

01 Step 01

OPEN THE PARENT PORTAL.

From any browser. Add the numbers your kid can call. Set quiet hours so the phone goes silent after bedtime. That's the entire setup — takes about two minutes.

Parent App Setup
02 Step 02

PLUG IN THE PHONE.

Connect Yaps to your home WiFi. Place it wherever your kid can reach it — kitchen bench, hallway table, their bedroom. It stays plugged in. It stays home.

03 Step 03

THEY PICK UP AND CALL.

Your kid dials a number or presses a speed-dial button. It rings. Someone answers. The call travels over your home WiFi. No SIM. No bill. No surprises.

Common Questions

YAPS FAQ.

No. Yaps connects to your home WiFi and makes calls over the internet (VoIP). There is no SIM card, no mobile plan, and no carrier contract. You pay a simple monthly Yaps subscription.

If your WiFi drops, Yaps cannot make or receive calls until the connection is restored. It works the same way as any WiFi-dependent device in your home.

Yaps is not designed as a primary emergency device. For emergency access, we recommend keeping a standard phone in the household. Yaps is built for everyday calls to approved contacts.
